Texas Attorney General v. Lorex
The State alleges that Lorex Technology Inc. and Lorex Corporation sold baby monitors and security cameras with components made, sourced, or serviced by Zhejiang Dahua Technology, a company on Texas’s Prohibited Technologies List, and hid those ties from parents. Dahua owned Lorex from 2018 until its sale to Skywatch Inc. on November 24, 2022, and the State says Dahua stayed involved.
