Telephone Consumer Protection Act
Federal consent, revocation, and do-not-call duties for calls and texts, with FCC implementing rules at 47 CFR 64.1200. The FCC adopted FCC 26-67 on September 30, 2026 and released it October 1, 2026, revising the consent-revocation framework, but the amendments take effect 30 days after Federal Register publication and had not been published as of October 12, 2026, so no effective date exists yet. Separately, the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau's January 6, 2026 order (DA 26-12) extends the waiver of the 2024 order's 'revoke-all' provision to January 31, 2027.
